KLM Capital is comprised of business partners who have had successful ventures together and who now combine their mutual trust, experience and expertise in Silicon Valley and Asia, to invest in KLM Capital's focused industries. KLM Capital's founders Peter Mok, Donald W. Brooks and Alfred Li are seasoned, accomplished leaders and entrepreneurs who have a combined experience of nearly 100 years investing in and advising communications, information technology and semiconductor companies. KLM Capital has a broad network of contacts in technology industries in the U.S. and Asia, and will leverage this network in identifying emerging and innovative companies that will deliver the next "killer apps" in KLM Capital's focused industries. Peter Mok, Co-Founder / Managing General Partner

Peter Mok is the Co-Founder and Managing General Partner of KLM Capital. He is an accomplished venture capitalist, corporate banker and investment banker in the Silicon Valley and Asia. Peter founded Silicon Valley Bank's (NASDAQ: SIVB) successful Pac Rim Group and was responsible for structuring some key technology finance deals. Peter was formerly a Senior Vice President with Transpac Capital where he headed their U.S. technology venture capital investments. Peter was the Chairman of Metrowave and was on the boards of V-Bits, Opulan, Radiant, JemPac, CyberPlus and Alacrity. He made the investment in Phone.com (NASDAQ: OPWV) and provided certain strategic advice to that company. He is currently the Chairman of Auvitek, as well as a board member of Diyixian, GCS, Globitech, House18, Metrocom, Opcom, Syntricity and YesVideo. He also serves on the board of ESS Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: ESST).

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, San Jose, and is a 1987 graduate of the University of Washington's Pacific Coast Banking School.

Don Brooks, Co-Founder / Special Partner

Donald W. Brooks is the Co-Founder, Chairman and Special Partner of KLM Capital. Don's career as a corporate executive in the semiconductor industry has spanned more than 30 years. From 1991 to 1997 he served as President of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (NYSE: TSM and TSE: 2330). Don shepherded its growth from an early stage company to become listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 1994, and TSMC has since become the world's largest independent semiconductor foundry with a market capitalization of over US$15 billion. Don previously was President of Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation and Vice President of Texas Instruments. Under his management Texas Instruments developed a reputation as a leading supplier of MOS memories. He was a board member of United Microelectronics Corporation of Taiwan (NYSE: UMC and TSE: 2303) and previously served as its President and co-Chief Executive Officer.

Don served on the boards of a number of KLM portfolio companies including Current Ventures Group, Focused Semiconductor, Extreme Devices, GCS, JemPac, ShareWave, Syntricity, Tmanage and UMC(USC). He is currently the Chairman of Globitech Inc. 

Don received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.

Alfred Li, Co-Founder / Special Partner

Alfred Li is the Co-Founder and Special Partner of KLM Capital. Alfred is the Chairman of the SPS Group, a group of Hong Kong-based financial services companies with stock brokering, futures trading and investment management as well as direct investments. Alfred has deep industrial contacts in Asia, especially Hong Kong, China, Thailand and Malaysia. He is also the Chairman of Momentum Ltd., a specialist computer systems integrator providing banking system solutions to banks in China. Alfred was a leading IPO lawyer in Hong Kong in the 1980s when he co-founded Iu, Lai & Li, a leading Hong Kong corporate law firm.

Mary Page, CFO

Mary is the Chief Financial Officer of KLM Capital. Prior to joining KLM, Mary served as SVP/CFO of Saratoga National Bank when it was a "premier performing" bank from 1987 until its acquisition by San Jose National Bank in 2000. She has worked in various capacities in the banking industry since 1980. Mary received her B.S. in Development and Resource Economics from University of California at Davis.

Amy Lo, Office Manager

Amy Lo is the Office Manager of the KLM Capital Hong Kong Office. Prior to joining KLM, Amy was director of the secretarial division of Iu, Lai & Li, a leading corporate law firm in Hong Kong. Amy has extensive professional experience in serving clients from private and listed companies in Hong Kong and overseas with a wide range of corporate and secretarial services. She is an associate member of the Institute of the Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in London and the Hong Kong Institute of Company Secretaries.
